Our Educational Programs
The Association schedules educational programs of a timely nature which are held in conjunction with its Annual Convention in September, as well as its Mid-Winter seminar. The MIBA has conducted a series of Basic Banking seminars throughout the state at geographical locations convenient to the majority of its member banks. These seminars are designed to limit bank’s expense of training employees as well as for the convenience of the attendees. Seminars are held at locations statewide limiting travel and overnight expenses. Cost effective and convenient educational programs are essential to the success and effectiveness of the operation of community banks, and the Association will continue to offer its educational seminars in a convenient and cost effective manner allowing greater access to quality educational programs for its member bank’s employees at affordable fees.
